At D&D Audiovisuais, innovation and creativity are the pillars that support our work in video mapping and the creation of immersive experiences for museums. Utilizing all the strengths of our company, we transform events and exhibitions into sensory journeys that engage and move the audience.
One of our most emblematic projects was the sound and image experience at Terreiro do Paço, commemorating the Centenary of the Establishment of the Republic. This videomapping presentation brought historical moments to life, combining cutting-edge technology with a captivating narrative, and transformed one of Lisbon's most iconic locations into an unforgettable visual spectacle.
Another project that brought us immense satisfaction was the production of all the videos and experiences for the Benfica Museum - Cosme Damião. This was a meticulous three-year project involving extensive research in newspaper archives and RTP, as well as extensive filming. We created a 3D recreation of the city of Lisbon and manipulated hundreds of photographs to integrate into videos displayed in various spaces of the museum.
The result was a visual narrative that tells the rich history of Sport Lisboa e Benfica, its athletes, its victories, and significant events in the life of this centenary institution.
In 2010, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Republic in Portugal, we created a video mapping spectacle called "THE CITIZENS' SQUARE." From the mythical arrival of Ulysses in Lisbon to the recent restoration of the Praça do Comércio, we narrated 1,000 years of history about what is today the most famous square in Lisbon.
