D&D Audiovisuais is renowned for producing large-scale galas, solidifying our expertise in creating memorable events. From the celebration of June 10th at Expo 98, where we staged one of the largest fireworks displays ever seen in Portugal, to the Gala da Lusofonia, hosted by Catarina Furtado, dedicated to celebrating Portuguese-speaking countries. This event featured musicians from Brazil, Angola, Cape Verde, Mozambique, and Portugal, showcasing the best of Lusophone culture.
Additionally, we produced significant events such as celebrating the 50th anniversary of the newspaper Record, the 108th anniversary of Sport Lisboa e Benfica, and galas marking the entry into the years 2004 and 2005. Each of these projects was meticulously planned to provide unique and memorable experiences.
Presented by Fernando Mendes and Rute Marques, the RTP New Year's Eve Gala - "AT LAST 2004" - features great musical guests This was a program that seamlessly intertwined spectacle and humour surprisingly and unexpectedly.
At the invitation of the Presidency of the Republic, D&D, in co-production with Praça das Flores, organized the programming for the Expo on June 10, 1998.
There were 56 shows and 22 performances, in addition to children's entertainment, involving over 1500 national or Portuguese-speaking artists.
The event featured top bands, jazz groups, classical music, fado, world music, and folk and ethnographic groups, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display, showcasing the diversity and quality of national artistic production.
All performances were filmed and broadcast live on various Expo screens, with D&D Audiovisuais in charge of the audiovisual project.
It was 14 consecutive hours of entertainment, making it a memorable day!
We produced a gala for RTP to celebrate the arrival of 2005, with Fernando Mendes and Isabel Angelino as hosts. The special featured hilarious comedy sketches, starring Rita Blanco and Nicolau Breyner, among others. Additionally, the program was enhanced by musical performances from beloved artists such as Romana, Cristina Branco, Emanuel, and Marco Paulo.
The big names that marked Portuguese sport over the last five decades passed through the stage of the Coliseum to honor the 50th anniversary of the newspaper Record, in a grand gala broadcast live by SIC with production by D&D Audiovisuais.
We were responsible for setting up the entire audiovisual operation and producing content for the gala, which aims to recognize the achievements of various individuals associated with the Benfica football club.
Hosted by Catarina Furtado, the Lusofonia Gala brought together some of the most notable artists from the Portuguese-speaking world.
